Fluidised bed plastic coating
RILSAN® - PPA® - POLYTHENE
The application process involves submerging the part in a fluidised bed. Before proceeding with plastic coating the surface needs to be suitably prepared by de-greasing or shot blasting.
RILSAN® plastic coating also requires the application of a layer of primer as a bonding element, to guarantee maximum coating adherence.
During this process, the item is pre-heated in a small/medium/large conveyor kiln.
It is then placed in a fluidised bed, which is a tank containing various types of thermoplastic materials in powder form.
A thickness of 0.5 to 1 mm is obtainable, according to the type of material being processed.
